ANNOUNCE: This net meets every Monday at 7:30 PM local time on the W9NTP, 145.48 MHz repeater with an 88.5 Hz PL tone, in order to pass formal or informal traffic, test our equipment, practice our operating skills, and learn how to properly check into a net(pause, let repeater drop). It also allows the local amateur community the opportunity to exchange news and information about ham radio. Membership in any group is not required for participation and all check-ins are welcome. When you check in to the net this evening, please indicate whether or not you have messages or announcements. I will remind everyone that this is a directed net and all traffic must go through the Net Control Station.

Now that you have logged in all stations A-Alpha through Z-Zulu, you may call those stations with announcements/traffic in the order they checked-in and let them make their announcements/traffic. If there are no announcements/traffic then move on.
If you as the NCS have any traffic for the Net, please do so at this time. This could be announcing upcoming hamfests, club meetings or anything that might be of interest to the local amateur radio community.
If you have traffic for any station on the Net you can pass it on at this time.
